Mrs Africa Continental 2016 Finalist, Mom and Entrepreneur

The lovely Noni Mbete from PE is a devoted wife and a loving mom to 2 amazing girls, Mbali & Amile. This versatile business women holds the title as a Mrs Africa Continental 2016 Finalist, a previous Mrs South Africa semi finalist and Business Manager in Finance & Insurance at Bidvest McCarthy PE.

Noni has an intense passion for women & children and through that founded the Resolute Women Campaign- which supplies matric dance dresses to under privileged girls in order to give these girls the fairytale experience they deserve! Her motto in life “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

Noni is also a motivational speaker, covering the topics like: ✔Life as a woman ✔The road to self discovery ✔How to make a good first impression ✔Menstrual health ✔Confidence and Learning to be unapologetically you.

Laurette Batstone

Mrs South Africa 2010, Business Woman, Model

During her reign as Mrs South Africa 2010 Laurette Batstone enjoyed an intriguing and exciting year in which she was featured in national magazines such as SHAPE, Top Billing, Woman & Home and modelled for the likes of Jenna Clifford and graced the Michel Herbelin brand as celebrity ambassador.

Laurette represented South Africa at Mrs World 2011 in Florida and has since continued in philanthropy for women and animals around the country. Her daily life involves being a proud wife, mother of 2 and owner of her own, very successful marketing agency in Nelspruit as well as Director of ACE Models Nelspruit.

“Being a mother is everything I hoped for, my children are 8 and 10 and all it takes is for them to cup my face in their little hands and they have their mommy in the weakest spot she can ever be! I’m worried that the delight and joy I get seeing these cute, beautiful children -that I have to now judge- will leave me wanting a hundred more children! (make sure my hubby doesn’t read this!)”

Razia Samson

Power mom & Reality TV star

Razia Samson and her husband Emile are the winners of the worlds-first English broadcast reality show Power Couple that hit South African shores in September 11th, 2015, come from Johannesburg and have been together for 15 years. They share 3 daughters and have been married for 9 years.

Razia grew up in East London, South Africa. Not only is Razia at present a Human Resource Recruiter for the Fashion Industry and has over 20 years experience in modeling, fashion retail and recruitment

With the TV industry not being new to Emile and Razia, the couple both have co-hosted a youth TV show, and Razia has starred in several advertising campaigns.

Razia has a passion for assisting orphans and helping children in rural areas and what drives her to success is having a positive attitude and hope she can continue doing so now that she is more in the public eye.

Lauren Zuidema

Director at Eniwe Children’s Fund

Lauren is the Director and Field Worker of Eniwe Children’s Fund. Her days are kept busy by the various projects she manages in Nyanga, Khayelitsha, Vrygrond and Grabouw, all focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children. As a sideline extra she also manages a local lifestyle & leisure magazine in Cape Town.

Lauren is the Director at Eniwe Children’s Fund; our supporting charity for KID 2016 and a registered non-profit organization that’s focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children.

Eniwe Children’s Fund is involved in various projects across Cape Town including a home for 6 foster kids aged between 2 and 15 years (with an additional 6 kids from the community) in Vrygrond; an educare centre for kiddies aged 2 – 5 in Nyanga; we build new homes for child-households in Khayelitsha; and we’re involved with feeding schemes in Gugulethu and Grabouw where over 150 hungry school-going children get a warm and nutritious meal every day.

“I am so excited to be a part of such an awesome (and cute) initiative. I’m really looking forward to seeing all the contestants. I predict it’s going to be quite a tough decision to make. Cant wait!” ~ says Lauren.
